September 16, 2006. Now Maeve can hold herself up like this for a bit, but she still doesn't much like tummy time, getting frustated after a few minutes. 

September 6, 2006 Maeve's found her hands, although it's not clear she really knows they belong to her. She also likes to sit propped up in the crook of the couch, but will eventually topple over 

September 4, 2006 Maeve can't push herself up like this yet, but enjoys hanging out for a minute or two on top of the ball.

August 12, 2006. Maeve's first ride on the T on her 7 week birthday. We're on our way to see Shakespear in the Park. She likes the sling and increasingly wants to be able to see out of it, no longer willing to just lie in the dark and go to sleep. 

August 8, 2006: Maeve can hold her head up much better.
